Pastor Ted's Farewell Message From The Pulpit on May 9, 2004

I was released to Lancaster County Hospice from John Hopkins University on Friday. This may be the last time I see you. I want you to know how much I love you all and how sorry I am for having to leave under these conditions but I'm looking forward to a great adventure.

Saint Paul wrote: "We see in a mirror, dimly, but then we will see him face to face."
1 Corinthians 13:12.
I'm looking forward in a few days to seeing Christ face to face.

Alfred Lord Tennyson wrote:
   "Twilight and evening bell,
    And after the dark!
And may there by no sadness of farewell
    When I embark.
For, though from out our bourne of
    time and place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face."
